1. Career
Exploration/Assessment:
IBS will show you how to open improve your Career Assessment
Center. This center will provide vocational evaluation and
career assessment services. Testing will be available to examine
specific skills/aptitudes or provide overall career choice
recommendations. The center will provide career/vocational
counseling services to assist people with career choice or
career changes. The center will also provide college selection
services including advising on specific college selection,
applying for scholarships, and choosing a major.
2. Job Training/Vocational Education: IBS will show
you how to create specific job training and vocational educational
programs that meet the training requirements of local and
national employers such as Walgreens, Bank of America, Starbucks
and the Restaurant/Hotel Industry etc. These industry specific
training programs will offer classroom and experiential training
to all participants.
3. Job Placement/Job Retention: The Career Planning Division
will provide strategies to improve your job placement and
follow-up services to participants. IBS will specifically
demonstrate how to work with the local and national business
community to help job seekers find and maintain quality employment.
Active job retention and follow-up services will be created
to help participants and employers navigate any problems with
a specific job match.

4. Social
Communication Instruction: IBS will help you create
a program that will offer specific instruction in the improvement
of social and communication skills. Many job seekers struggle
with these skills and find it severely impacts their career
success. This program will actively assess, teach, and support
the improvement of social communication skills that impact
employment success.
